I’ve always written. In my younger years I wrote short stories, poems and a book. In my adult years I’ve applied those skills to a more sensible class of work which has included essays, reports, statements of events and reviews for various employers. Now, as a mother of two, I thought I would try my hand at what every late twenties/early thirties mom tries: blogging.
As any mother and wife knows, whether you have one child or ten, whether you work out of the home or raising your kids is your job (because it most certainly is a job), you have to keep something for yourself. I am a writer. I am a mother. I am a wife. Most importantly, I am me. And in writing this, I am doing something for me.
